Andy Warhol was an American artist and a figure in the visual art movement known to us as pop art. He used painting, silkscreening, photography film and sculpture in his paintings. He began his career as a commercial illustrated and soon after reciting recognition through several galleries in the late 1950s, he became influential and controversial through his vivid color scheme and object selections.

Peter Max is known for using very bright colors in his work. His style changed at 18 when he began changing his technique from graphics to paint. His palette was taking on a  more soft and diverse approach and his strokes were becoming broader and much more textured like the art pieces seen above.
